03/22/10.

Allo! I have just returned from a very nice visit home to New Zealand where I was able to catch up with my family and spend some nice time outdoors. I am slowly getting settled back in East Vancouver and working on my own studio set-up! It's a great spot, and I've started a little website for the studio, Vintage Digital, and it has information about recent recording projects I have been a part of. I'm really stoked about having a proper place to work from, to record, write, and create some good music.

Recent work highlights include mixing Adam Thomas's new ballads record that has just been released. It's a really nice album (i think) and you can hear it on CBC radio 2. I also played drums on the recently released album by Marla Guloien that was recorded (to tape!) out at Turtle creek in White Rock. Marla is a really wonderful singer and I think you will hear more of her in the future.

I'm performing a bit too (even doing some extra work on TV!) but I'm terrible about keeping up to date with my performance schedule, and a lot of it is "last Minute" for now. I'll try to be more regular and post some info on my myspace page about gigs, hopefully my own gigs too, soon !

I have posted 3 tunes from my upcoming album onto my myspace page (and my facebook page!). Erik Herbst at the Panhandle house took the time to do some 'early' mixes for 3 songs so I would have them to share with you. Please find me on myspace or facebook and have a listen and let me know what you think! I am really excited about it and can't wait for the album to come out, but at present I need to find some investors to help fund the album release. If you like the music, and would like to support or be an investor in the album, please let me know!

thanks for stopping by!

:)
